Spectrum News reporter Josh Conner recently visited the Center for Advanced Manufacturing to speak with faculty members and students about an interesting collaboration with the University at Albany’s Ion Beam Lab. Advanced Manufacturing students next year will be tasked with making replacement parts for the university’s Ion Beam Lab particle accelerator.
Kevin Wynne, adjunct faculty in the college’s Biology, Chemistry and Physics Department, is also a project manager for the UAlbany Ion Beam Lab.
